My friend was hosting a Baby Shower in July for our friend and neighbour. She is due in August with their first child and “It’s a boy”. How exciting!! I volunteered to help with the party planning and make the decor. The shower was a hit and the mom to be was very excited and loved everything. We decided that since we like the “Little Man” idea that Bow ties would be perfect. Bubbly was the drink of choice and of course our Little Man is on his way soon. So our theme was born. Our hostess didn’t want a typical Baby shower where you make your Mother-to-Be or new Mother wear plate hats covered in bows, balloons and ribbons. We only played one silly game that was found on Pinterest “The Ice Cube baby” game. She wanted it to be more of a cocktail evening, with light snacks. Her main thing was that the Mother-to-be was spoiled.
One of my favorite things to do when planning any event is to make sure the guests feel extra appreciated and special. Besides having yummy food, drinks, and fun decor, I love to give awesome parting gifts. My friend gave me creative control, how fun is that.
